There is something deeply relaxing about the moody almost black blues of a heron paired with the silver shine of their feathers in the moonlight. The dark deep colors contrast against the metallic shine of their long legs. The colors around their eyes swirl softly.. The grasses have a hint of gold in them too after they have been dried by the summer sun.
During the day the summer sun scorches the marsh, but at night the marsh cools and becomes alive. Boat rides through with the cool cover of night, flash lights shining into the grasses trying to catch the glimpse of something.
