All of this beautiful inspiration will be used to create the concept for your website. This will invite visitors into your world and immerse them in thoughtful, beautiful design. The structure and technical capabilities of your site are being planned in this chapter.
The concept of the website is being actively designed in this stage. With a solid site review completed, I will finalize the website and prepare it for launch. By the end of the chapter, you will feel comfortable with managing your website and be able to update content, add products, or use whatever functionality your site has!
Currently, my recommendation for ecommerce is Shopify and for portfolio style websites Wix Studio. However, I am flexible with website platforms and have built many websites on other platforms including Showit, WordPress, and an app based on a WordPress website. Each platform works well in specific cases. We can discuss which website platform is best for you.
Yes! Branding is one of my favorite projects. We will dive deep into everything that makes your brand unique. We will gather inspiration together and create a brand that is uniquely your own. I will create curated elements for your brand including:
Primary and secondary logos
Complementary brand marks and elements
Logo variations in coordinating colorways
Curated brand color palette
Typography system
Brand guide featuring logos, colors, typography, and visual elements
Final logo files, including editable Adobe Illustrator files, SVGs, and transparent PNGs

Yes! I am a professional graphic designer. I have experience designing everything from custom events (event logos, invitation, signage, etc) to billboards. I frequently use the Adobe Suite, but often create Canva templates for easy usability for clients.
No! I will walk you through how to edit the photos and text on your site, update product listings, and work with any other features on your site. Also, in your site dashboard there will be video tutorials by me on your site for reference.
You will be able to maintain and manage your site. However, if you need new site pages or functionality, I am only an email and would be happy to take on mini projects.
Yes! Each website’s story is different and requires different looks, moods, and functionalities. That is why the inspiration and concept stages are so important to my process. Colors, fonts, header styles, footer styles, about pages, all of these and more are custom made to fit your website.
No! (Unless maybe you love minimalism mixed with moodiness… and have my exact preferences!) I do not make recreations of one style.
Each website is tailored to your unique style and aesthetic. My personal style is set aside as I enjoy the process of developing something new! I love the process of taking new inspiration and finding the connection points, contrast, themes and creating something new and unique. Plus, I would get so bored just doing the same style of websites all the time. It is not about my style, but what makes your website … you!
