This Christmas my focus is on slowing down and embracing winter as a season of rest. Embracing the early setting sun with fires, letting my house fill with the smells of a pot simmering with cinnamon sticks and oranges. Many times I am sadden by how short the days are, but this year I want to see the beauty in short, dark days. I want to let myself rest – following the cycle of the year . 

This Christmas season I am being inspired by chartreuse green paired with the not very Christmasy color of orange. I want to elevate this bright palette by pairing it with deep greens. I hope that you all have a beautiful Christmas!
